My favorite spaghetti sauce recipe - Vegetarian
It's quick, it's easy, and readily adaptable. Takes 20 minutes or less to prepare, and is a serious staple in my house.
2 14 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 14 oz can sliced stewed tomatoes
1 14 oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
2 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp kosher salt
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat on medium-low until at a simmer, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta, on french bread topped with cheese, or as a pizza sauce. Enjoy as a dipping sauce for breadsticks. Freeze for later use. Yum!
